What To Expect When You Visit SMCC

Our Mainstreet Team (parking lot attendants and other volunteers) is ready and willing to assist! They’re the ones wearing the red polo shirts. The cool thing about SMCC is that we love to meet you and are ready to help– red polo or not!

Parking (at the Draper campus)
When you come to SMCC, you’ll notice that we meet in a warehouse building. This means we share our parking lot with other businesses. We would suggest that you come a few minutes early to ensure that you get a good parking space.

Our goal is to see the children dragging the parents back to church. We offer Sunday School and childcare during all services. Children start out with their own age appropriate worship and big group time, then break out into small groups. Read more about our Heartland Children’s Ministry.

We have both Middle School and High School groups who do all the stuff youth groups do with trained Pastors and Directors who have a passion for our youth!

We offer a Jr High group during the first service on Sunday morning at the Draper campus; the Sr High group meets during the second service at the Draper campus. At the Daybreak campus, both Jr and Sr High groups meet during their Sunday morning service. For more information about the campuses, please see our SMCC Campuses page.

Excellent modern contemporary music along with Bible centered messages are a hallmark of the SMCC experience. If you’re new, fill out one of our Connection Cards and turn it in at our Guest Booth for a free gift! Don’t worry, we use the information you provide to invite you to a Pastor’s Dessert– free dessert offered by our Lead Pastor, Paul Robie, who loves to open up his home to meet you.

***Just a note: You can expect people of all faith backgrounds.  You can expect people to be dressed in everything from their “Sunday Best” to their “going to the ball game” clothes.

faith journey

If you’re new here, you can join our Starting Point group. Or check out our custom, specialized groups in Turning Point. Or join a home group, divorce recovery group, men’s or women’s groups – the list goes on, but you get the idea. Other opportunities to get involved and to serve await those that come to SMCC.

We are “One Church, Three Locations”

We meet at three separate locations throughout Utah– the Draper campus and the Daybreak campus in the northern part of the state, and The Springs campus in St. George.  All locations will give you the same atmosphere and preaching. The children’s ministry, youth ministry and music are very similar at all campuses. We encourage you to choose the campus closest to you so that you can go to church with your neighbors.

Our Vision and Passion

Our vision and passion is to help as many people as possible take their next step toward becoming fully devoted and fully delighted followers of Jesus Christ!
