Membership
Being a Team Member at SMCC is our way of defining church membership. Being a “team member” is a voluntary way of saying “I accept the vision of SMCC, love the people who go there, and want to be a partner in the risks and rewards of SMCC.”
We believe there are at least three reasons for a formal membership with SMCC. First, we believe the concept of membership is Biblical. Second, formal membership is valuable to church leaders as they seek to fulfill their God-given task of shepherding. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, experience shows that living life in partnership is the most healthy and enjoyable way to live a Christian life.
